SAP LABS

Palo Alto, CA

From cube farms and individual silos, to an open/flexible work environment – SAP’s dramatic change in workplace function now fosters increased group collaboration among its various departments. Originally, SAP’s Cloud team was spread across three buildings and over six separate floors, this pilot project brought them all together under one roof. A major contributor in meeting the client’s fast track schedule and budget was BCCI’s Real Time Estimator (RTE) tool. Specifically, RTE enabled the team to effectively value engineer and pinpoint cost controls while meeting the client’s objectives. What transpired is a flexible workspace comprised of multi-functional teaming rooms utilizing DIRTT modular wall systems, video conferencing space, and a large kitchen/lounge area. Concrete corridors enable quick travel across the floors via scooters and tricycles, while open expansive ceilings bring in natural light and exposed mechanical systems provide a relaxed, modern ambiance to the space.
