Working with a private developer, BCCI provided construction management, LEED and Sustainable consulting, and post-occupancy services for the interior and exterior building renovations of an existing commercial building for a new Social Security Administration (SSA) district office in South Jordan, Utah. BCCI renovated the property to meet the General Services Administration (GSA) standards and the specific programmatic needs of the SSA which included an open office space, private offices, waiting rooms, public service counters, training rooms, kitchen/pantry, restrooms, and file and storage rooms. The build-out of the core and shell included a completely new mechanical system, exterior cosmetic and weatherproofing upgrades, site utilities, parking, landscaping, new site entry and security systems. Additionally the energy efficient upgrades that were implemented in the design and build-out assisted with achieving LEED-CI Silver certification for the project.
