BCCI completed a multi-phased renovation of 2001 DC Station, a Class A office building next to the Daly City BART station. The improvements included major upgrades to the building exterior and main lobby. The first phase of the project comprised the build-out of a new gym and conference center. Subsequent to completion, BCCI began construction of an addition to the building facade to enclose and connect retail space to the main lobby. BCCI worked closely with the structural engineer to provide and install a design-build solution for a stainless steel clad structural steel skeleton and glass enclosure at the building’s entry. Throughout construction, the building remained occupied. BCCI’s team developed a detailed logistics plan in order to allow businesses to remain fully operational. Additional project components included site work, a new ADA compliant ramp, and landscaping.
