BCCI provided architectural, program management, and preconstruction services for the relocation of a U.S. Attorney’s Office located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. BCCI renovated an existing southwestern style structure built in 1969 into a Class A office space reusing existing features such as windows and an access ramp to maintain the architectural character of the building. The exterior portion of the project included the addition of handicap access for all building entries, site parking reconfiguration, and landscape improvements. The tenant improvements within the office included all new mechanical system, the build-out of a visitor’s lobby entrance and visiting area, installation of a bullet proof entry door, transaction windows in public areas, luxury vinyl tile in select areas of the office space, and support spaces including conference rooms, break rooms, open and closed file rooms, and employee restroom and showers. BCCI also executed the design and incorporated a significant amount of security equipment into the project, which was a requirement for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
