BCCI Construction Company Gives Back To The South Bay Community

Mountain View, CA (May 3, 2018) – BCCI Construction Company (BCCI), the Bay Area’s premier commercial contractor, continues its commitment to community service and social impact across the Bay Area with its recent partnership with nonprofit Rebuilding Together. On Saturday, April 28, members of BCCI’s Community Builders team revitalized the facilities of Research and Respite for Alzheimer’s Disease (RRAD) and Rosa Elena Childcare Center in San Jose as part of Rebuilding Together’s annual Rebuilding Day.

Over the course of the day, a group of 20 committed team members contributed 168 hours patching and painting four large community spaces at the Center. As a busy, dual-purpose facility that serves both seniors dealing with dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as preschool-aged children, the Center had not been upgraded since first opening its doors in 1991 and there was noticeable wear and tear. Contractors Creative Ceilings and Service Painting generously donated supplies to support the improvements. The Center selected their preferred colors—calmer hues for the areas dedicated to the elderly community, with brighter, more playful shades chosen for the preschool children to enjoy.

According to Armond Balaian, BCCI Director of Project Management and team leader for the project, “When we learned about RRAD’s needs and the importance of what they do, their work hit home for some of us, and it felt like the right organization to support at this time.”

BCCI’s South Bay office recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and the opening of a new, larger office in Mountain View. According to BCCI Vice President Debbie Fleser, “We have a strong commitment to the South Bay community, which has been good to us, and we felt it was important to give back.”
