Case Study: Google Account | SF Bay Area
BCCI has successfully completed over 2 million square feet of high profile projects for Google which has informed and enriched our understanding of Google’s company culture, environmental priorities and sustainability initiatives, as well as, expectations during project planning, construction, and closeout. BCCI’s team has worked diligently to ensure that all projects comply with Portico, Google’s Healthy Materials Program and achieve the desired LEED certification.
Case Study: 345 Montgomery Building Repositioning | San Francisco
BCCI completed a renovation and seismic upgrade of the granite and glass cube at the corner of Montgomery and California Street – an iconic structure that was once Bank of America’s flagship retail location next door to its World Headquarters. The property, now owned by Vornado Realty Trust, has been transformed into a dramatic commercial office building with a five-story, 50’x50’ atrium; a stadium-style staircase from the basement to the first floor; cantilevered stairs; two new elevators; and all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems.
Case Study: Professional Service Firm | San Francisco
For more than a decade, BCCI has been a valuable construction partner for this global professional service firm’s Bay Area offices which led to the award of their latest build-out spanning five floors at Salesforce Tower. As a flagship innovation hub for the company, a creative, future-forward workspace was envisioned for the firm’s technology, digital business, and consulting operations to inspire new ways to work with clients and improve customer experiences.
Case Study: 826 Valencia | San Francisco
BCCI completed the build-out of the new Tenderloin Center, a writing/tutoring lab with a retail store for 826 Valencia, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children ages six to eighteen develop their writing skills. BCCI donated its labor and fees to support the project and spearheaded an outreach program with the local subcontractor community.
Case Study: 85 Bluxome | San Francisco
BCCI has completed construction on a new ground up office building in the South of Market neighborhood. Hired by developer Presidio Bay Ventures, BCCI provided feasibility analysis for improving the existing structure, a 27,646 square foot industrial building, versus demolishing the building and constructing a new one. Ultimately it was decided that the best return on investment was to build a new five-story shell structure totaling 56,850 square feet. BCCI assisted the design team with value analysis, programming, entitlements, city planning review, permitting, and material selection.
85 Bluxome: Breaking Ground
BCCI Construction has broken ground on a new office building in the South of Market district. Hired by developer Bluxome Partners, BCCI provided feasibility analysis to improve the existing structure, a 27,646 square foot industrial building, versus demolishing the building and constructing a new one. Ultimately it was decided that the best return on investment was to build a new five-story shell structure totaling over 55,000 sf.
Case Study: The Battery | San Francisco
BCCI completed a major structural renovation of the Musto Building. Originally constructed in 1907, the unreinforced masonry structure required a mandatory seismic upgrade and included restoration and retrofit work, an expansion of the basement level, and the addition of a fourth floor penthouse. The building which was once used as a warehouse and then office suites has been converted into swanky private social club The Battery with a fine dining restaurant, four bars, a wine cellar, a card room, a library, a conference center, a fitness facility, and 14 guest rooms.

BCCI Construction completed a major renovation of a former factory, transforming it into a private social club. The existing three-story unreinforced masonry structure required a mandatory seismic upgrade and also included restoration work, an expansion of the basement level, and the addition of a fourth floor penthouse. BCCI reused materials throughout the building, such as columns, beams, and joists, applying every construction method available to deliver a project unlike any other in the heart of San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.
