For Immediate Release

SAN FRANCISCO, February 3, 2022 — BCCI Construction, a leading West Coast commercial contractor and a subsidiary of STO Building Group, has promoted Armond Balaian, LEED AP, to Division Vice President of its Silicon Valley office and Wendy Peterson, LEED AP, to Division Vice President of its San Francisco office.

“We greatly appreciate and recognize the significant contributions of both Armond and Wendy to expand our business across Northern California and into new markets. Their demonstrated leadership and passion for client service will ensure continued delivery of thoughtful and innovative construction solutions to our clients.”

Dominic Sarica, Chief Operating Officer, BCCI Construction

As Vice President, Balaian’s responsibilities will include implementing the company’s strategic planning initiatives, overseeing operations and leading key accounts across the Silicon Valley region, and providing leadership and guidance to departments and studios.

Balaian joined BCCI in 2008 and has accumulated robust expertise in the Bay Area construction market, most recently serving as Director, Project Management, building the division’s project management team and leading significant client program and headquarters projects for technology companies. As a key member of the Silicon Valley leadership team, Balaian has helped grow the business and support the company’s overall strategic goals.

Balaian has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.

As Vice President of BCCI’s San Francisco office, Peterson will manage operations across the division, oversee significant platforms to support innovation and increase effectiveness, and focus on major accounts and growth in the company’s key market sectors.

Since joining BCCI in 2004, Peterson has led significant projects and client accounts. As her project successes continued, so did her contributions to the organization. While serving as the division’s Director of Project Management, Peterson took on many tasks, including helping to reorganize the company’s corporate structure to a cross-discipline “studio” model. Peterson was also an integral member of the company’s technology steering committee and most recently led the transition to a new construction management software platform.

Peterson has a BS in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Construction Management Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension.
