BCCI was selected as general contractor to build out a prominent venture capital firm’s headquarters in a Class A office building on Sand Hill Road. The project included interior renovations, base building modifications, as well as site work. BCCI’s use of Real Time Estimator for conceptual budgeting helped the client make early decisions regarding design and scope to maintain its budgetary goals.
The new headquarters is comprised of private offices, open office space, client-facing and internal conferencing, break areas, and new restrooms. Unique elements include the installation of white oak floors and ceilings throughout the office to modernize and brighten the space. Additionally, ornate metal frames were installed in front of glass conference rooms to add privacy and interest. The base building work included a full roof replacement, mechanical unit upgrade, main building entry renovation, landscape improvements, new outdoor terrace, and parking modifications.
