BCCI was selected to provide turnkey design-build services for Poly’s new customer-facing demonstration space and briefing center in San Jose. Our in-house architecture and construction team worked collaboratively to infuse the Poly brand and the design spirit of the existing office space into the newly refurbished area while also working within the client’s budget and schedule requirements. Coordination and communication were critical to the project’s success. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, challenges arose with material lead times, and items such as the light fixtures, felt wall coverings, and door frames were pre-released to maintain the client’s schedule. The project features a client briefing center with custom millwork and display areas for product, soundproof walls and acoustic treatments in demonstration rooms, and robust A/V and access control systems as part of the design solution.
