BCCI partnered with Axiom, a leading provider of tech-enabled legal services, and their New York designers, BHDM Design, to provide architectural and general contractor services for their new San Francisco office. Located in a 1910 brick-and-timber building in the city’s North Waterfront district, the client desired an aesthetic that complemented the building’s original features: soaring ceilings with skylights, exposed rafters, and wood beam structural supports.Acting as BDHM’s local liaison, BCCI’s team provided critical insight regarding local building code requirements, conducted regular site visits, and assisted with construction administration which allowed BHDM to be virtually present through progress photos and collaborative technology. BCCI’s architectural team took the very descriptive concept sketches created by BHDM and worked on-site with our field team to build the design vision. This integrated process saved tremendous time on architectural detailing. The result is a stunning new workspace with a casual vibe that takes advantage of the property’s historic elements while also offering modern touches and the latest A/V technology.
