When cloud-based software company BILL expanded its headquarters to add an executive briefing center (EBC) and multipurpose “clubhouse” space, they chose BCCI as the general contractor for the build-out. Our prior work at the America Center development in San Jose, including the flawless delivery of McAfee’s headquarters, left an indelible mark and played a pivotal role in BILL selecting our team. To incorporate sustainability and provide cost efficiency, the team chose to reuse the mechanical equipment, including electrical distribution, panels, and circuit breakers, and repurpose existing materials, such as glass doors and wood ceilings. Construction was completed while adjacent spaces remained occupied and operational. The finished space, with a kitchen, lounge, conference rooms, and an all-hands meeting area, features a fireplace in the lobby, custom millwork, and an expansive curved, floating ceiling. Additionally, the space includes AV capabilities for recorded and broadcast briefings, a green room, a production room, an IDF room, and a 33-foot video wall comprised of nearly 100 high-definition screens. The project team achieved a zero-punch, demonstrating our commitment to delivering meticulous, high-quality spaces.
