We were selected as the general contractor for the second-floor renovation of Stanford Health Care’s Advanced Medicine Center/Cancer Center building, part of a broader initiative to expand clinical services. The project added 21 exam rooms, shared work areas, registration zones, telehealth suites, utility spaces, private restrooms, and offices—enhancing both patient care and staff workflow. To accelerate delivery and improve efficiency, the build incorporated advanced construction techniques, including prefabricated Beyond modular wall systems with integrated plumbing and electrical rough-ins, as well as AcornVac vacuum waste systems. Designed and built as a proof of concept, this project demonstrates the real-world advantages of these innovative solutions in a healthcare setting and lays the groundwork for their broader adoption across Stanford Health Care facilities.
