After successfully completing multiple projects for this fintech company, BCCI was selected as the general contractor for the relocation of its headquarters to a historic, single-tenant building in the Jackson Square neighborhood. This three-story structure, which spans two lots, boasts expansive floorplates, soaring ceilings, and abundant natural light, providing an ideal setting for a dynamic work environment.
BCCI’s close collaboration with the client team ensured seamless communication, effective cost control, and the successful management of project feasibility throughout every phase. During the budgeting phase, our team conducted an in-depth building survey and initiated early demolition to uncover hidden conditions, providing precise cost estimates and ensuring transparency. Given the project’s scale and complexity, a unique intake process was required to secure the necessary permits. To meet their desired move-in date, BCCI expedited the project schedule, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
Key aspects of the project included significant work on the rooftop, such as slab openings for a new cooling tower and the installation of two new mechanical units. In the basement level, which includes new restrooms and a cafe, BCCI tackled trenching through the structural concrete slab, dewatering, and installing sump pumps and new plumbing infrastructure.
The 1st and 2nd floors feature a combination of open office space, private offices, conference rooms, a training room, media studios, phone rooms, a fitness center, and a high-tech auditorium equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual systems. Throughout the building, the design incorporates custom finishes, including specialized wall coverings, unique ceilings, custom metalwork, and commissioned sculptures, creating a distinctive and inspiring workspace.
