The two-phase, five-floor high-end office build-out for an investment management firm includes a conference center, telepresence rooms, private offices, pantries, break rooms on each floor, and new core restrooms. An existing staircase was modified to provide a custom architectural feature in the main reception area, and it was extended by one flight to connect all five floors and support active design principles. The project was put on hold midway through construction due to COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders. Our team worked with the client to minimize the impact of pausing and re-starting construction. Phase one comprised three floors and phase two included two more floors and was completed with enhanced COVID-19 protocols.
