Our team provided preconstruction and construction services for the phased, fast-track conversion of one-bedroom suites to two-bedroom units in two 12-story high-rise Student Housing apartment building in Escondido Village. Beginning with the renovations at Blackwelder, the construction team delivered two completed floors every two weeks over the summer months. Additional project scope included common area upgrades in the main building lobby to provide a more efficient use of space.

Following the successful completion of the renovations at Blackwelder, we were selected as the design-build contractor for the renovations in the adjacent Quillen high-rise. The work at Quillen was completed the following summer and sequenced in the same fashion with two renovated floors delivered every two weeks. Additionally a game room was built out at the lobby-level as an added amenity for residents.
