BCCI Construction partnered with Gensler and DiNapoli Capital Partners to revive the landmark 802-guestroom Hyatt Regency hotel overlooking the historic San Francisco waterfront. The client was looking for creative ways to refresh their existing building and provide guests with easier access to amenities. Working closely with the City electrical inspector, BCCI designed the infrastructure for the installation of 80,000 custom LED lights in the 17-story atrium lobby. Additional work included building a new 24-hour fitness center, a guest business center, and a gift shop as well as relocating the car rental desk to the atrium level. All construction was completed during business hours without interruption to guests.
