Set within a Westwood Village office tower, we recently completed the build-out of a hospitality-focused entertainment suite for Global Music Rights. The project includes a new bar, dining room, listening lounge, conference rooms, and flexible event spaces, along with exterior upgrades that transformed former parking areas into a patio and assembly space.
The build was executed within structural constraints, including full-floor seismic joints running through key program areas and limited ceiling heights at the transition between parking and office floors. These challenges were addressed through precise coordination and custom fabrication. Seismic joints were seamlessly integrated into custom millwork, preserving required movement while maintaining visual continuity. Low-ceiling conditions were mitigated with coffered ceilings, concealing mechanical and electrical systems while improving acoustics and perceived height.
A major exterior modification created a nearly 30-foot-wide façade opening with a folding partition system, connecting the interior to a new 2,000-square-foot roof terrace. Close collaboration with the design team and specialty consultants resulted in a high-performing, adaptable environment that supports both intimate gatherings and large-scale events.
