Williams-Sonoma, premier retailer of gourmet cookware, chose the 100 North Point building to house its 400-person IT department. The existing three-story structure, located at the cusp of Fisherman’s Wharf was originally dark and outdated. After lease signing they looked to BCCI’s team for its expertise and knowledge in building complex projects that require full demolition and build-out in order to help Williams-Sonoma transform the space into an open, airy atmosphere. The interiors project had its challenges, including collaborating remotely with the client’s brand consultants on the East Coast; ordering long lead items from Europe; and restoring the existing raised floor system on the ground level. However, BCCI seamlessly provided solutions and simultaneously executed construction during the design phase to maintain the client’s schedule and budget requirements. The result is an elegant space that is reflective of the Williams-Sonoma brand and company culture.
