This technically challenging renovation to the historic Bently Reserve, formerly the Old Federal Reserve building, encompassed LEED standard life safety, mechanical, lighting control and security upgrades throughout the seven-floor structure. BCCI partnered with the client team to successfully incorporate energy efficient equipment into the project plan to support the client’s goal of improving the building’s operational performance. Construction activities were sequenced to minimize disruption to the building’s tenants and neighboring businesses, and system switchovers were coordinated to maintain continuous service. The LEED CS Silver certified structures project resulted in a state-of-the-art office and conference space, attracting a wide range of sustainably-minded tenants.
